My aim is, and has been, for over twenty-five years, to provide quality legal services to my clients at a reasonable rate in a variety of civil practice areas. My primary emphasis is in real estate, business, estate planning, and probate. Although much of my practice involves transactional law, I also handle contested matters. While I always encourage parties to reach a resolution in any dispute, I have experience with arbitration, mediation, and litigation. I have represented clients as an arbitrator and mediator, as well as in the trial and appellate courts.

The web page photograph epitomizes my philosophy; the Romans refered to it as "mens sana in corpore sano," or a sound mind in a sound body. Not only do I believe it is possible to have a quality legal practice while enjoying the outdoors, but I believe that physical challenges enhance ones ability to do quality mental work as applied to the practice of law. I am one of fewer than 1,000 people to have climbed all of Colorado's 14,000 foot mountains and had a wonderful time doing it!
